Privacy policy

We never see your data.

MDM Sidekick has no servers of its own, no analytics and no advertising. Effective 19 September 2026.

What the app collects

Nothing. The developer receives no information about you, your devices or your Jamf Pro server. The app contains no analytics, crash reporting, advertising or other third-party code.

Where your information goes

The app connects to one place: the Jamf Pro server address you type on the sign-in screen, over HTTPS. Your username and password are sent to that server to get an access token, as Jamf's API requires. Inventory and other records travel between that server and your device and are not stored after you sign out.

What is kept on your device

If you leave "Remember this login" on, your password is saved in the iOS Keychain, readable only while the device is unlocked, excluded from backups and never synced to iCloud. The server address and username are saved in the app's preferences so the saved login can be found. "Sign out and forget saved login" in Settings deletes all of it. Turn the switch off and nothing is saved.

The demo server

"Try the demo server" runs entirely inside the app with invented data. It makes no network connection.

Your organization's data

What you can see and change is decided by the privileges of your Jamf Pro account. Records you view belong to your organization and stay under its policies. Jamf's handling of data on your server is covered by Jamf's own privacy policy.

Children

The app is a tool for IT administrators and is not directed at children.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Questions: shekharabhishek02@gmail.com.
